As Senior Investor based in San Francisco, you will sit at the heart of Headline deal origination. Your primary mandate is to drive deal flow through proactive network cultivation and relationship-building with founders, operators, and co-investors across the technology ecosystem. You will leverage an extensive network to surface proprietary opportunities before they become broadly competitive, then apply sharp investing judgment to evaluate and prioritize a high-volume pipeline.

The role demands both breadth and depth: you will conduct thematic market mapping to identify emerging trends ahead of the curve, while simultaneously maintaining deep relationships with the founders and investors who shape each sector. You will move quickly through deal evaluation, building conviction efficiently and positioning Headline to win in competitive venture processes.

Key responsibilities include sourcing high-quality proprietary investment opportunities through your founder, operator, and co-investor networks; processing and evaluating a high volume of deals with disciplined judgment; and leading thematic investment work to identify emerging technology trends.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of venture investing experience, with a track record that typically begins with an analyst program followed by an associate role at a venture firm. You are deeply plugged into relevant technology networks and have demonstrated ability to generate proprietary deal flow and build lasting relationships with exceptional founders.
