Manager / Director - Institutional Sales International

Role Overview

Munich Private Equity Group is hiring a Manager/Director for Institutional Sales International, based in Oberhaching (Greater Munich), Germany. The role focuses on acquiring and managing institutional clients across international markets, with an initial focus on Europe excluding Germany.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively acquire and manage institutional clients in international markets, with an initial focus on Europe (excluding Germany).

- Establish, develop and manage relationships with international and local placement agents and distribution partners (sales multipliers).

- Conduct market analysis and further develop the firm's distribution strategy in selected markets, covering client requirements, products, markets, client groups and channels.

- Participate in international conferences, investor events and industry gatherings; prepare for and participate in investor webinars and annual investor meetings.

Qualifications

- University degree in business administration, finance, economics or a comparable field.

- 3+ years of relevant experience with a proven start-to-finish track record acquiring and managing institutional investors, ideally in the alternatives/private equity space.

- An established, robust international network of institutional investors.

- Strong knowledge of capital markets, finance and asset management, ideally with private equity experience.

- High initiative, strong sales orientation and entrepreneurial mindset; excellent presentation and communication skills.

- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus. Willingness to travel internationally.
