Private Equity Analyst

StepStone Group is a global private markets specialist delivering tailored investment solutions, advisory services, and data-driven insights to the world's investors. The Private Equity Analyst will engage broadly in various areas of the private equity industry, including manager and fund diligence for StepStone's advisory practice, as well as diligence responsibilities for the asset management business lines (co-investment and secondaries practices).

Essential responsibilities include working in a team environment to source, screen, and conduct due diligence on PE fund managers, co-investments, and secondaries; performing quantitative and qualitative research with financial modeling across industries and geographies; interacting with fund managers and portfolio company management teams for in-depth underwriting; analyzing PPMs, financial statements, and investment returns; conducting reference calls; performing market research to identify macroeconomic trends across industry sectors; preparing due diligence materials and Investment Committee memos; and monitoring existing investments.

Requirements include 1 year of investment banking, consulting, or PE experience; GPA of 3.5 or higher; strong quantitative and financial modeling skills; ability to work legally in the US without visa sponsorship.
