Vice President

Savano Capital Partners is a growth equity firm that focuses on leading software and tech-enabled companies across multiple sectors. The firm partners with companies to provide liquidity to individual shareholders and primary growth capital.

Savano is seeking a Vice President to help source, analyze, and make investments in their recently closed third fund. The role operates in a tight and collaborative environment where every team member has a voice, with direct exposure to partners and portfolio companies from day one.

Key responsibilities include mentoring, training and overseeing analysts and associates in sourcing, due diligence and financial modeling. The VP will conduct market research and analysis to identify sectors and companies to invest in, generate deal flow via existing networks and proactively prospect for new opportunities, and evaluate investment opportunities through due diligence, financial and valuation modeling.

Additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing investment memos, presenting investment findings and recommendations to the team, and overseeing deal execution including negotiations, structuring, and legal processes. The VP will develop relationships with growth-stage companies, executives, venture ecosystem participants, and co-investors.

The ideal candidate possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills to perform diligence, manage deals, and interact with company founders and executives. The role provides responsibility from day one and the ability to work deals from start to finish in a fast-paced growth equity environment.
