Vice President

Skyview Capital Ventures is a wholly owned subsidiary of private equity firm Skyview Capital, based in Los Angeles. The firm is seeking to hire a Vice President and/or Partner for its rapidly growing Ventures platform and upcoming fundraising initiatives.

The Vice President will be an early and integral part of the overall growth and success of Skyview Ventures, extensively involved in the firm s aggressive expansion across multiple practice areas. This is a high-impact opportunity to join at a formative stage and shape the direction of the Ventures platform.

Key responsibilities span four areas: sourcing, deal execution, deal negotiation, and portfolio management. For sourcing, the candidate will identify deal opportunities from the venture ecosystem, participate in ecosystem outreach including speaking on venture panels, judging business plan competitions, and attending startup networking events, as well as tracking industry trends across multiple sectors.

For deal execution, responsibilities include reviewing deal materials, preparing PowerPoint summaries of opportunities and strategic plans, reviewing deal data rooms, conducting due diligence, performing industry and market research, building operational models, researching competitors, leading due diligence meetings, and analyzing company performance metrics.

Portfolio management responsibilities include tracking portfolio and company performance over time. The ideal candidate brings strong venture investing experience with the drive and network to contribute to both deal flow generation and fundraising efforts for the upcoming fund.
