Senior Director, Asset Management

ORIX Growth Capital is one of the leading growth lending platforms in the market, providing flexible debt and equity capital to high-growth businesses in technology and healthcare across the U.S. and Canada.

This Senior Director role is based in San Francisco and leads growth of the ORIX Growth Capital platform in the Bay Area. The position covers the full investment lifecycle: origination, due diligence, structuring, investment committee presentations, closing, and ongoing portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

- Originate investment opportunities by building relationships with VC/PE funds, technology firms, and intermediaries

- Evaluate growth companies across market opportunity, competition, financials, management, and capital structure

- Lead business development, transaction identification, analysis, and underwriting

- Prepare investment memos for investment committee

- Monitor portfolio accounts financial performance, compliance, and industry trends

Requirements

- 10+ years of venture/growth company investing, debt investing, and/or investment banking experience

- Prior direct investing experience required; lending/credit or VC experience a plus

- Wide network in the venture and growth equity ecosystem

- Strong financial modeling skills; knowledge of technology and/or healthcare sectors preferred
