About the Role

Plug and Play Tech Center is a global innovation platform connecting startups with corporate members (including Daimler, Prologis, Nissan, Volvo, BP, Walmart, Nokia, and Coca-Cola) across 45+ locations worldwide. Its investment track record includes Honey, Dropbox, Lending Club, Kustomer, and Einride. This Ventures Associate role focuses on the Aerospace & Defense vertical.

Key Responsibilities

- Source Pre-seed, Seed, and Series A startups for investment opportunities, corporate-partner introductions, and the accelerator program

- Support the deal team on investment opportunities and build a network of venture capitalists and co-investors

- Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape in Aerospace & Defense

- Work with corporate partners to identify technology trends and business opportunities, and support mentoring

- Evaluate startup performance, scalability, and technological edge to assess ROI potential

- Support event production for demo days and mentor sessions as part of the accelerator program

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a startup environment or within private finance

- Strong problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills

- Background in government, military, or defense contractor experience preferred

- Established network within the aerospace and defense community a plus
