About This Role
Role Overview
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is hiring a Principal for Teachers' Venture Growth (TVG), its venture and growth-stage investing arm, to lead Strategic Growth & Partnerships initiatives across TVG's North America portfolio from its San Francisco office.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with TVG investment professionals and portfolio company management teams to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that accelerate growth
- Build and maintain relationships across the North American venture ecosystem to facilitate strategic introductions, partnerships, and talent opportunities for portfolio companies
- Manage and expand TVG's network of advisors, operators, and industry experts
- Design and scale growth programs, tools, and capabilities that strengthen TVG's portfolio support model
- Lead or support strategic projects across the portfolio, driving execution and measurable outcomes
- Measure and communicate the impact of growth and partnership initiatives to investment teams and senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or operating roles at high-growth technology companies
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the venture capital, growth equity, and technology ecosystem
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with senior executives, founders, and external stakeholders
- Strong network of contacts across the Silicon Valley venture and growth equity ecosystem
Compensation
Base salary range USD $190,000-$240,000, plus eligibility to participate in Ontario Teachers' annual incentive plan and comprehensive employer-paid benefits.
