Analyst, Private Capital Advisory - Private Equity Fund Placement

Lazard Private Capital Advisory Group (PCA) seeks an Analyst for its global platform, which has raised over $145 billion across 145+ funds since 2003. As a leading global placement agent, PCA maintains relationships with more than 1,500 institutional investors worldwide and has advised on many of the largest and most innovative secondary market transactions.

The Analyst will support three core business lines: (1) Secondary Advisory — advising on GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions including continuation funds, strip sales, tender offers, and management company sales and spin-outs; (2) Private Equity and Credit Fund Placement — advising PE and credit firms on capital raising across fund types and structures; and (3) Real Asset Fund Placement — advising real estate and real asset general partners seeking to raise capital across complex transactions.

The role offers broad exposure to private capital advisory transactions from sourcing and analysis through execution. Responsibilities include market research, investor outreach, financial modeling, due diligence support, and preparation of investor materials. The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions across all three business lines.

Strong financial modeling, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should have a genuine interest in private markets and an understanding of fund structures. The role is based in New York.
