Director, Restructuring

Interpath is an international and fast-growing advisory business with deep expertise in deals, advisory and restructuring capabilities. Since its foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, with a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain and beyond.

Interpath launched in Germany in January 2025, making this a unique opportunity to join a new business within an established international company. The German business is led by experienced Managing Directors focused on Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Value Creation.

About the Role

As a Director in the Restructuring & Advisory team based in Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf or Berlin, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic restructuring and advisory engagements while raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Restructuring and Deals advisory services in Germany.

The successful candidate will lead client-facing teams and oversee a diverse range of projects involving Turnaround management, Restructuring and Transformation, providing direct assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a liquidity crisis.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership of teams and workstreams to stabilize clients' financial and operational positions

- Managing senior client relationships across lenders, management, shareholders and advisors

- Contributing to business development in the German restructuring market

- Working across domestic and international restructuring engagements

- Supporting the development of the Interpath Germany franchise

Ideal candidates will have proven restructuring experience in Germany, strong stakeholder management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited to building a practice in a new market.
