About This Role
The Associate or Senior Associate, Fund Management, will focus on the analysis of real estate investment opportunities and provide support for the Fund Management team's decision-making and management of key investments. The role supports Managing Directors in assessing fund-level considerations for acquisitions, asset management, and disposition recommendations, reporting to the Managing Director, Fund Management - Americas.
Responsibilities include assisting with the review and execution of potential fund investments, preparing, maintaining, and reviewing recurring and ad-hoc asset and fund level reports, providing analytical support for leasing and capital expenditure decisions, and creating and reviewing financial models for investment underwriting, property valuations, and hold/sell analyses. The role also involves utilizing market intelligence and quantitative research to identify strengths and risks of investment opportunities, coordinating with other units within Investment Management (Finance, Research, Risk) and the broader firm to advance major projects, and providing general support to senior team members in decision-making and strategy execution.
Minimum requirements include a BA or BS degree in business, analytics, or a quantitative field, three or more years of related experience within commercial real estate or finance, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and strong quantitative and relationship-building skills. Previous experience with office, multifamily or industrial real estate is preferred, along with a basic understanding of the real estate development process.
