Role Overview

HarbourVest Partners is hiring an Associate for its pre-MBA Associate program within the Primary Investment Group, based in Boston, MA. HarbourVest is a global private markets investment firm with more than forty years of experience investing in private equity, venture capital, and other private-market strategies through primary fund commitments, secondaries, and direct/co-investments.

About the Role

Associates in the Primary Investment Group will be an integral part of HarbourVest's fund investment activities, supporting due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and manager relationships across the firm's global primary fund program. The role offers direct exposure to general partners and limited partners as part of a collegial, low-turnover team culture.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in the Boston office, with 18 remote workdays per quarter available at the employee's discretion, subject to manager approval (e.g., 4 days in-office plus one remote day weekly).
