Vice President, Strategy & Operations

Five Points Capital, a leading independent private debt and equity manager focused on the U.S. lower middle market, is seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Operations to join its team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Founded in 1997, Five Points Capital manages two direct strategies: flexible unitranche, second lien, and subordinated debt solutions (FPC), and a control buyout strategy through Reynolda Equity Partners. The firm is currently investing from its fifth fund in each strategy.

In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic governance over the data integrity of private fund vehicles and serve as a critical bridge between investment professionals, accounting, business development, and investor relations.

As the firm's Data and Systems Architect, you will own the fund and portfolio-level data ecosystem — from maintaining sophisticated portfolio monitoring databases to identifying and implementing best-in-class technology solutions. You will also serve as the primary owner of complex fund projection models, delivering high-stakes scenario analysis including waterfall mechanics, leverage utilization, and deployment pacing.

Key responsibilities include orchestrating quarterly portfolio data cycles, maintaining quality controls, partnering with fund accounting on investor reports, and leading evaluation and procurement of new portfolio monitoring systems. You will also act as a senior liaison to institutional investors, presenting data-driven insights on fund accounting and portfolio metrics.
