The Chief Investment Officer will be the principal architect and executor of the family's comprehensive investment strategy. Reporting directly to the family principals and a dedicated investment committee, the CIO will act as a trusted advisor, bringing strategic vision, intellectual rigor, and unimpeachable integrity to the role. Key Responsibilities of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with a Family Office - Greenwich, CT The CIO will be entrusted with a broad range of critical responsibilities, including but not limited to: Investment Strategy & Policy Development Continuously develop, refine, and implement the Investment Policy Statement (IPS) in collaboration with the family. Translate the family's risk tolerance, return objectives, and liquidity needs into a cohesive and dynamic investment strategy. Asset Allocation Leadership Lead the strategic asset allocation process across all asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and direct investments. Make tactical adjustments based on evolving market conditions and macroeconomic analysis. Manager Sourcing and Due Diligence Source, evaluate, and select best-in-class external investment managers globally. Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative due diligence, including deep dives into investment strategy, team, performance, and operational infrastructure.
