Sr Primary Research Associate

Henry Crown & Company/CC Industries, a Chicago-based privately-held company managing business, philanthropic, and family interests, is seeking a Senior Primary Research Associate for Longview Asset Management, its multi-strategy investment arm. Longview invests in publicly traded securities, private company equity, and limited partnership interests in private equity funds and hedge funds. The Senior Primary Research Associate leads and controls primary due diligence projects supporting investment decisions. Responsibilities include independently recruiting and interviewing subject matter experts on companies and industries, producing detailed interview transcripts and research reports, presenting findings to leadership, and managing junior research staff. The role requires collaboration with securities analysts, conducting market research on investment targets, and building comprehensive expert networks.
