Vice President, Portfolio Management & Operations

CAZ Investments, a Texas-based alternative investment firm founded in 2001, is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio Management & Operations to support its investment platform.

In this role, you will support portfolio-level risk management across the firm's investment platform, including monitoring concentration, liquidity, leverage, and downside risk exposures. You will identify, evaluate, and manage investment-related tax considerations, including structuring implications, ongoing tax exposures, and coordination with internal teams.

CAZ Investments focuses on exclusive access to unique alternative investment opportunities. The firm invests more than $650 million of personal capital alongside its global network of investors through co-investment vehicles spanning the full range of private markets. The firm operates on an alignment-of-interest model where management compensation is largely tied to investor returns.

You will collaborate across teams to inform leadership and support sound portfolio construction and long-term investment outcomes, contributing to the firm's overall success by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating investment, structural, and tax-related risks.

Qualifications: Relevant experience in portfolio risk management, investment operations, or investment tax within a private markets or alternative investments context. Strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration ability, and familiarity with private market fund structures are required.
