Senior Associate / VP - Infrastructure Debt

Brookfield Infrastructure Group, one of the world's largest infrastructure investors with approximately $191 billion of assets under management, is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its infrastructure debt team in New York. The role presents an opportunity to originate, structure, and execute private infrastructure investments, primarily focused on flexible capital, unitranche, high-yield, preferred equity, and mezzanine capital.

Brookfield operates and manages assets that facilitate the movement and storage of energy, water, freight, passengers, and data across North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific regions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate in a flat, team-oriented environment that promotes growth and mentoring

- Develop investment theses and value creation strategies, and lead transaction structuring

- Source and screen new investment opportunities with senior management

- Perform due diligence including operational, financial, valuation, and industry analyses

- Build detailed financial models including underwriting cases and investment committee materials

- Structure and execute term sheets and financing documents

- Monitor existing portfolio investments

- Network and research industry trends to identify new investment opportunities
