Senior Associate / Vice President – Investments, Credit Portfolio Solutions

Brookfield's Institutional Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its Credit Portfolio Solutions team in New York. This is an investment role with significant responsibility across portfolio construction, investment strategy, diligence, portfolio management, and client engagement within one of the world's leading alternative asset managers ($1+ trillion AUM).

Key Responsibilities:

- Design customized investment solutions for institutional, private wealth, and family capital clients leveraging Brookfield's full credit platform — spanning infrastructure, corporates, real estate, and asset-based finance

- Access points include primary funds, secondaries, co-investments, and direct investments

- Source and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities across the Brookfield ecosystem, including direct platforms and partner managers

- Evaluate proposed mandate constructions against client objectives: yield, total return, structuring, tax, regulatory, asset-liability matching, and liquidity considerations

- Analyze portfolio performance under varying scenarios and economic outcomes

- Draft and present investment recommendations and new client mandate proposals to the ISG Investment Committee

- Engage closely with Brookfield's credit investment platforms and wealth management client teams

The Credit Portfolio Solutions team operates as a high-performing, collaborative group with deep expertise across asset classes, structures, and investor types — institutional, private wealth, and family capital.

Requirements:

- 3–6 years of experience in credit investing, portfolio management, or related alternative asset management

- Strong understanding of credit markets, structured products, and private credit instruments

- Excellent communication skills for client-facing responsibilities

- Based in New York
