Director, Real Estate Private Equity

BMO U.S.'s Community Capital Solutions team invests the Bank's balance sheet in conventional equity real estate funds managed by sponsor and developer clients, along with select direct real estate equity investments across the United States. The Director leads day-to-day value creation on 25-30 conventional real estate equity fund LP investment files and drives portfolio-level performance.

Key responsibilities include: own accountability for 25-30 conventional RE equity fund LP investment files; coordinate acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and strategic initiatives; track carrying values and exposure; present investment/monitoring materials to committees; prepare and review portfolio forecasts and performance materials; oversee quarterly reporting and valuation; source and diligence new Real Estate Investment Fund opportunities; track the U.S. real estate market across the Affordable Multifamily Residential asset class; prepare investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
