Private Equity Operations, Vice President

BlackRock is seeking an experienced Vice President to join the FAIR (Fees and Allocation Information Review) team, leading a defined portfolio of client engagements across the Americas (AMRS) region. This role combines client ownership, delivery oversight, strategic execution, and people leadership, with a strong emphasis on driving operational excellence and developing junior talent.

Responsibilities:

Client Ownership & Delivery Leadership:

- Own and oversee a book of client engagements across the AMRS region, with accountability for delivery quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction

- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex analytical, structural, or delivery issues

- Ensure consistent application of methodologies across management fee, partnership expense, and carried interest analyses

- Communicate complex fund structures and findings effectively to clients and senior stakeholders

Strategic & Operational Leadership:

- Lead and execute strategic initiatives focused on improving delivery efficiency and quality standards

- Drive process improvements and operational scaling initiatives within the FAIR team

People Leadership:

- Manage and mentor a team of senior associates and analysts

- Provide structured feedback, coaching, and career development support

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience operating at VP level in private equity operations, fund administration, or financial services

- Prior experience with private fund fee structures, management fees, carried interest, and partnership expense analyses strongly preferred

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Proven ability to lead complex client engagements and manage cross-functional teams
