About This Role

## About the Role

BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Solutions (GIP) team is hiring an Investment Associate to support infrastructure investment activities in New York. The role focuses on co-investments and secondaries transactions across North America.

## Responsibilities

- Deal Underwriting: Evaluate transactions through market research, financial modeling, and coordination of legal and commercial workstreams.

- Investment Documentation: Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to investment committees and clients.

- Portfolio Management: Monitor existing investments, maintain relationships with general partners, and prepare performance review materials.

## Qualifications

- 2+ years of infrastructure or private equity investment experience

- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record

- Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with AI tools

- Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills

- Understanding of private equity, leveraged finance, project finance, and secondaries

- Knowledge of infrastructure subsectors and the private equity manager landscape

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; English fluency required, additional languages a plus

## Work Details

- Location: New York, NY (Hybrid — 4 days in-office, 1 day remote per week)

- Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel

- Compensation: USD $135,000 - $180,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus
