Senior Associate, Growth Investing

Role Overview

Bessemer Venture Partners is hiring a Senior Associate for its Growth Investing team in San Francisco, CA. Bessemer manages $20 billion in assets with over 145 IPOs and 300 portfolio companies spanning AI, enterprise, consumer, health, and frontier tech sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop investment theses on priority markets

- Source and build relationships with founders

- Lead due diligence: financial modeling, market sizing, customer analysis

- Synthesize findings into investment recommendations for the investment committee

- Support portfolio companies post-investment

- Contribute to brand building and content creation

Qualifications

- 3-6+ years in investment banking, consulting, private equity, growth equity, or startups

- Strong financial modeling and company analysis capabilities

- Genuine interest in software and AI products

- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and handle a rigorous travel schedule

Compensation & Benefits
