About This Role

Social Tech Ventures (STV) is an early-stage venture fund backing technology companies solving critical social and environmental challenges across health and wellbeing, financial resilience, and climate and environment. Many companies addressing these challenges do not fit traditional venture capital models. STV provides aligned capital through a revenue-first investment strategy and flexible equity structures designed for companies building through revenue traction, capital efficiency and different routes to scale.

Following its first close, STV is deploying capital while continuing to raise further commitments. We are now looking for a delivery-focused Investment Associate to manage and deliver defined workstreams that are core to running a disciplined early-stage fund. This is a hands-on Associate role in an active, revenue-first fund, combining fund operations and investing.

Key responsibilities:

1. Pipeline management and CRM — manage inbound deal flow and maintain an accurate, up-to-date CRM; prepare short screening notes on prospective investments, assessing fit with STV's investment strategy; prepare pipeline status reporting for the Managing Partner, showing current opportunities, recommended next actions and follow-up requirements; ensure founders receive timely, professional and consistent communication throughout the investment process.

2. Due diligence, financial modelling and Investment Committee materials — carry out commercial and financial due diligence on prospective investments, assessing the opportunity, business model, financial position, outcomes potential and key risks; support legal due diligence by coordinating documents, adviser input, founder follow-ups and tracking follow-up actions; build and review financial models, cap tables and related analysis to support investment assessment, structuring, downside analysis and portfolio monitoring; prepare clear Investment Committee materials, including evidence-based analysis, risk assessment, key questions and proposed next steps; support assessment of flexible equity and revenue-linked investment terms, including revenue participation, conversion rights, and follow-on structures.
