Key Responsibilities

- Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities in data and AI infrastructure

- Build authentic relationships within technical communities (meetups, conferences, informal channels)

- Conduct rigorous due diligence and develop investment theses in emerging domains

- Form contrarian, independent views and pressure-test assumptions

- Actively experiment with current AI tools and research

Requirements

- 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering, ML/AI research, data science, technical product management, or founding a startup

- Genuine passion for connecting with builders in the technical community

- Strong relationship-building abilities

- San Francisco Bay Area based

- Prior investing experience is NOT required — technical depth matters most

Compensation

$175,000 annually.
