Infrastructure Equity, Associate Director

Barings is seeking an Infrastructure Equity Associate Director to join its newly formed and expanding Global Infrastructure Equity group in New York City. This role plays a key part in supporting the full investment lifecycle across core, core-plus, and value-add infrastructure opportunities, with lead responsibility for underwriting and execution workstreams.

Key responsibilities include leading financial modeling and underwriting efforts across power, transportation, energy transition, digital infrastructure, and utilities sectors. The Associate Director will own preparation of screening memos, valuation analyses, and investment recommendations for the Investment Committee, and will lead workstreams for IC deliverables including drafting materials, coordinating inputs, and managing data room processes.

Additional responsibilities encompass supporting transaction structuring and documentation, taking active responsibility for asset-level monitoring including KPI tracking and valuation updates, and partnering closely with senior investment professionals on transaction strategy, asset management, and portfolio construction as the platform continues to scale.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in infrastructure equity investing or a related field such as investment banking with infrastructure coverage, demonstrated financial modeling capabilities, and strong communication skills for engaging both internal stakeholders and external advisors.
