Vice President, Multifamily Asset Management

Ares Management is seeking a Vice President for its Multifamily Asset Management Group in New York (or Atlanta). The VP will oversee a diversified national portfolio of core, value-add, and opportunistic multifamily assets, both wholly owned and JV held. Responsibilities include developing and implementing asset management strategies to maximize value, fostering relationships with third-party property management, leading financial modeling and analysis, overseeing capital expenditure approval, and managing the annual budget process. The role involves working closely with Portfolio Management to ensure business plan execution and strong investment performance. Candidates should have experience in multifamily real estate private equity asset management with strong financial modeling skills using Argus and Excel, and familiarity with national multifamily markets.
