Vice President, Corporate Finance

Oaktree Capital Management, a leader in alternative investments with over $200 billion in AUM, is seeking a Vice President for its Corporate Finance team in Los Angeles. The VP will be a senior member responsible for financial planning and analysis at Oaktree, helping build a best-in-class FP&A capability. Responsibilities include serving as a key finance leader during Oaktree's transformation and integration with Brookfield, establishing the finance operating rhythm including KPI dashboards and management reporting, leading finance support for enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and improving decision-making by analyzing financial impacts of business alternatives. The role involves partnering with senior leadership for budgeting and forecasting, driving process improvements and new technologies including Workday Adaptive implementation, and mentoring team members. The position requires strong FP&A experience in investment management or financial services, with deep understanding of PE firm economics including management fees, carried interest, and fund structures.
