Principal or Managing Director, Value Creation Team, Services and AI

## Role Overview

Ares Management is seeking a Principal or Managing Director to join the Value Creation Team (VCT) within the Private Equity Group. The role focuses on identifying, designing, and implementing AI-driven initiatives across Ares' middle-market portfolio companies to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

## Key Responsibilities

- Partner with deal teams during diligence to evaluate targets and identify high-impact AI opportunities

- Engage with portfolio company management teams to design and implement scalable AI solutions

- Drive measurable value creation across at least two portfolio companies

- Deliver at least one scalable AI solution replicable across the portfolio

- Cultivate sector-oriented networks of AI advisors, vendors, and operators

- Build core practices for AI deployment: opportunity assessment, implementation, measurement, scaling
