Venture Scout

Accelerate Ventures, a London-based venture capital firm specializing in sports technology and emerging tech, is seeking a Venture Scout to join their investment team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside the CEO and Investment Director in a small, high-impact team environment where you will take on significant responsibility from day one.

As a Venture Scout at Accelerate Ventures, you will play a central role in identifying and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities across the sports technology and emerging technology landscape. You will proactively source and screen new investment prospects, conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging investment themes, and build and maintain a network of founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

Key responsibilities include sourcing new deal flow through outbound prospecting, attending industry events, and leveraging your professional network. You will analyze business models, assess market opportunities, and contribute to investment evaluation processes. Additionally, you will support thought leadership efforts through content creation and firm communications.

This role requires a strong academic background and genuine passion for entrepreneurship, sports, and emerging technology. Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate brings high initiative, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset. You should be comfortable operating in a small team with a fast-paced, hands-on approach to work.

Accelerate Ventures offers first-round interviews at their London office, with selected candidates progressing to a final screening stage. This is a full-time position based in London, United Kingdom.
