Founded over a century ago, Whittier Trust is the oldest privately owned multi-family office headquartered on the West Coast, providing highly customized investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThe Vice President, Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing client portfolios consisting of equities, fixed income, cash, and alternative assets within established investment guidelines. The role combines investment management, macroeconomic research, client relationship management, and business development.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage client portfolios to achieve stated investment objectives and risk profiles. Make and implement investment decisions across equities, fixed income, and alternative assets. Maintain asset allocations within client guidelines and departmental policies. Analyze economic, asset class, sector, and company fundamentals as part of smaller investment working teams. Lead or assist in internally managed strategies and asset allocation decisions. Participate in weekly and monthly investment meetings, communicate regularly with clients, and make investment presentations to clients and referral sources.
