Associate Vice President, Portfolio Analytics

Ares Management's Secondaries team is seeking an Associate Vice President – Manager, Portfolio Analytics in New York. The team specializes in secondary market transactions across private equity, real estate, credit, and infrastructure investments, with approximately $42 billion AUM as of December 31, 2025.

The AVP will engage with key team members across PE Secondaries Deal Team, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, and Investor Relations. The ideal candidate will possess investment analysis, accounting, or private equity / fund of funds experience with an understanding of fund reporting, basic partnership accounting, and performance metrics.

Primary responsibilities include supervising and developing analysts and associates, supporting deal closings and fund allocations, performing detailed quarterly investment report valuations including diversification analysis, and working closely with the finance team of approximately 60 professionals across West Hartford CT, Boston MA, and New York NY locations.
