Senior Credit Director

The Senior Credit Director will join Triple Point's Credit and Risk team, which partners with every part of the group's risk function to identify, assess, and manage potential risks. The role focuses on credit governance and underwriting across Triple Point's private credit platform, covering multiple verticals including SME Debt Finance, Property Development Finance, Corporate Lending & Leasing, Speciality Finance, and Funds Finance.

Working closely with origination teams, product heads, and the Head of Credit, the Senior Credit Director ensures that transactions are approved within risk appetite and that credit governance is applied consistently across the platform. This role is a voting member of the Private Credit Credit Committees and supports the Head of Credit in maintaining overall portfolio discipline and credit culture.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and challenging lending proposals across all credit verticals, supporting the maintenance of a consistent credit framework and underwriting discipline, ensuring lending proposals are aligned with internal credit standards, overseeing governance of credit approvals, and contributing to portfolio monitoring and risk reporting. The role requires strong engagement with origination teams during deal assessment and provides final credit sign-off within agreed delegated authorities.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in alternative lending, private credit, or structured finance, with a strong track record in credit underwriting and risk assessment across complex financing structures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across the business are essential. Experience across multiple asset classes within private credit — including real estate, corporate, and fund finance — is highly valued.
