Role Overview

Save the Children Global Ventures (SCGV) is Save the Children's impact investing and innovative finance platform, established in 2022 to mobilise high-impact capital and leverage the organisation's global delivery platform. SCGV oversees a portfolio of impact investment funds — the Save the Children Australia Impact Investment Fund, the Generation Empowerment Fund (Sub-Saharan Africa), and the Children's Impact Multiplier Fund — and is now launching a third, the Asia Healthcare Fund, an early-stage healthcare fund targeting venture-capital-level returns across Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Based in Southeast Asia (ideally Indonesia, the Philippines, or Vietnam), the Associate will support SCGV's impact investing activities with a focus on health, nutrition and AI/data companies that generate deep impact for children.

Key Responsibilities

- Support expansion of SCGV's healthcare investing platform across APAC

- Support the Asia Healthcare Fund's Principal across the end-to-end early-stage venture capital transaction process — opportunity identification, origination, due diligence, structuring, documentation, Investment Committee approval and closing

- Contribute to technical due diligence on portfolio companies

- Provide analytical and coordination support in building SCGV's reputation and networks across the Asia impact investing ecosystem
