About Samsung Next

Samsung Next is the venture capital and corporate development arm of Samsung Electronics, investing in early-stage startups focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, and edge computing infrastructure. The team operates globally and offers a structured three-year learning program for new investors.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and develop relationships with founders in AI, robotics, blockchain, healthtech, and fintech

- Conduct thorough due diligence on technology, teams, markets, and business models

- Prepare and communicate investment cases through memos and committee discussions

- Provide hands-on support to founders and portfolio companies post-investment

Requirements

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or engineering

- 3+ years of technical experience in industry, startups, or research

- Demonstrated expertise in AI, robotics, or edge/cloud infrastructure

- Strong relationship-building and analytical capabilities

- Availability for regular travel and global meeting participation

- Previous angel investing experience preferred (no prior VC experience required)

Compensation

$175,000–$195,000 base salary. Hybrid work arrangement.
