Investment Director

Quinbrook is a specialist investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed to drive the energy and digital transitions. Since its founding in 2015, Quinbrook has invested in energy infrastructure assets and businesses representing a total transaction value exceeding USD 27 billion spanning large-scale renewable power generation, biofuels production, long duration storage, hyperscale data center infrastructure, AI powered asset optimization, grid support and flexibility solutions in North America, the UK/Ireland and Australia. We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to play a leading role in the origination, evaluation, execution, and management of digital infrastructure investments across North America. Based in New York, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and delivering high-quality investment opportunities across sectors including data centres, telecommunications, on-site generation and other digital connectivity assets. Responsibilities: Deal origination — leverage networks and industry knowledge to identify and secure high-potential investment opportunities with a specific focus on digital infrastructure assets. Negotiation — lead negotiations with target companies, managing complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders. Portfolio oversight — provide strategic oversight for portfolio companies, helping drive value creation. Team management — guide and support analysts, associates, senior associates and VPs. Experience: significant experience in deal execution and client management, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities; a strong track record of originating and executing digital infrastructure transactions; must have worked at an infrastructure funds business or private equity firm. Academic requirements: degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration; MBA desirable.
