PGIM - Investment Analyst (Private Credit Secondaries)

Role Overview

PGIM, the global asset management business of Prudential Financial, is hiring an Investment Analyst for its Private Credit Secondaries team in New York, NY (hybrid, on-site three days a week). The role sits at the intersection of private credit and secondaries investing, combining bottom-up credit analysis of underlying borrowers with portfolio-level investing and transaction structuring across LP-led and GP-led secondary opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Support all aspects of the investment process — sourcing, due diligence and execution of private credit secondaries transactions, including LP interest acquisitions, GP-leds and structured transactions

- Prepare detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses and investment memoranda under tight time constraints

- Conduct extensive credit analysis and financial modeling of underlying borrowers and funds across private credit asset classes, including direct lending, mezzanine, opportunistic credit and infrastructure

- Actively monitor existing investments, including regular interaction with managers of underlying investments and valuation updates

- Work with the broader team on deal sourcing and fundraising efforts

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

- 1-2 years of experience in private credit, direct lending, mezzanine investing, credit secondaries or equity secondaries

- Strong underwriting and financial modeling skills
