Associate Director / Director, Investment Operations

A global large-cap private equity firm is seeking an Associate Director or Director to join its Investment Services team in New York. The firm manages a diversified portfolio across multiple strategies and has demonstrated strong performance, including notable exits and AUM growth through new investment product lines.

In this role, you will serve as the senior operational point of contact for US deal teams, taking responsibility across the full deal lifecycle. You will lead coordination across tax, legal, regulatory, and operational workflows to ensure compliance with fund LPA requirements and governance frameworks. A core part of the role involves facilitating communication between the US-based deal teams and the European fund management organization, ensuring alignment on processes, reporting, and fund governance.

You will develop and implement region-specific operational processes to optimize deal execution and maintain governance of investment structures. You will lead relationships with external service providers—including legal counsel, auditors, and tax advisors—and report to the Global Head of Investment Services while managing a small team in New York.

The firm offers VISA sponsorship and a base salary range of $200,000 to $300,000.

Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in private equity investment operations or a similar investment management environment. You should have a track record of working closely with front-office investment teams and a deep understanding of the full investment lifecycle—from deal sourcing and execution through fund management and exit. Familiarity with US and European tax, risk, and compliance frameworks is required. Previous team management experience is advantageous.
