Chief Financial Officer

A PE-backed multi-unit restaurant group headquartered in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a compensation of $220,000–$260,000 plus performance-based bonus.

The CFO will partner closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive profitability, manage financial reporting, and support the company growth strategy in a hospitality-focused private equity context.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning and analysis to drive profitability and growth across multiple restaurant locations

- Manage all accounting, budgeting, and forecasting functions in compliance with GAAP

- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and PE sponsors

- Advise senior leadership and the board on strategic financial matters including investor reporting and capital allocation

- Develop financial policies, risk management frameworks, and internal controls

- Oversee month-end close processes and multi-jurisdiction tax matters

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred

- 6+ years as CFO in the restaurant or hospitality sector

- 14+ years total accounting or finance experience

- Proficiency with R365 restaurant management software

- Deep knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and multi-unit P&L oversight

- Board and investor relations experience in a PE-backed environment

- Strong leadership and communication abilities
