Vice President

Role Overview

New Capital Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is hiring one to two investment professionals at the Vice President level. The role spans the full investment lifecycle, with particular emphasis on sourcing new investment opportunities, due diligence, and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities through proactive cold outreach, relationship development, and market coverage

- Lead or support due diligence efforts, including financial analysis, business diligence, market research, and management assessment

- Build financial models and conduct valuation analysis to assess investment attractiveness

- Prepare investment committee materials, internal memoranda, and presentations for firm leadership and investors

- Assist in transaction execution, coordinating with management teams, advisors, and lenders

- Support portfolio companies on strategic and operational initiatives, including growth planning and performance improvement

- Participate in fundraising and capital deployment activities

Qualifications

- Relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development

- Demonstrated experience sourcing investment opportunities and/or business development in an investing context

- Strong due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and research skills

- Undergraduate degree required
