Venture Capital Senior Analyst

Healthworx is the corporate venture, development, and commercialization arm of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. As an active investor in digital health and healthcare innovation, Healthworx builds a portfolio of investments and strategic partnerships with forward-thinking organizations, reimagining healthcare delivery and experience.

The Venture Capital Senior Analyst will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, executing on investment theses, and supporting portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of traditional healthcare payer and the innovative health start-up ecosystem.

Responsibilities include: sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities across digital health and healthcare innovation; conducting market research, competitive analysis, and investment due diligence; assisting portfolio companies with strategic guidance and operational support; sharing insights across CareFirst and the startup ecosystem; building internal team operations and processes; preparing investment memos and supporting the investment committee.

This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC, offering the opportunity to shape healthcare's future through venture investment while working within one of the nation's leading healthcare insurers.
