Vice President, Investments

A leading investment platform focused on private equity and private credit investments in middle-market sustainable infrastructure businesses is seeking a Vice President to join their investment team in New York City. The platform manages hundreds of millions of dollars across several funds and strategies with a successful track record across renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure technologies including solar power, battery storage, hydroelectric generation, energy efficiency, electrified transport, and sustainable fuels.

The Vice President will play a senior role within the investment team, leading the execution of new investments from screening through closing and supporting portfolio companies through value creation and exit. The position includes meaningful origination responsibility, direct interaction with management teams and the investment committee, and oversight of junior investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities include: leading due diligence workstreams across commercial, financial, technical, legal, and tax topics; structuring and negotiating transactions including term sheets and definitive documentation; originating new investment opportunities through relationship development with project developers, advisors, and other intermediaries; managing and mentoring junior members of the investment team; and supporting portfolio companies through board participation and value creation initiatives.
