Investment Associate, Leading European Small to Mid Market Private Equity Fund

An exciting and growing small to mid-cap private equity fund and merchant banking group is seeking an Investment Associate to join their pan-European investment team.

The fund operates as a generalist investor with a focus on businesses across Europe.

Key responsibilities include: actively participating in the full deal-making process from origination to completion; originating new investment opportunities; conducting commercial and financial due diligence and building financial models; working on deal execution including structuring, negotiating terms, and coordinating external advisors; and providing corporate finance advisory services to specific clients.

The ideal candidate will be a strategy consultant from a leading firm such as Parthenon, McKinsey, Bain, BCG, LEK, Strategy&, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, or OC&C, or a private equity professional or investment banking associate. Strong UK deal experience, an excellent deal track record, and genuine interest in small to mid-cap investing are required.
