About This Role

Galvanize is a global asset manager investing at the intersection of energy innovation, resilience, and intelligence. The firm deploys capital across seed, venture, growth, public equities, credit, and real estate, combining investment expertise with deep in-house capabilities in technology, policy, and markets. Galvanize is structured to rapidly identify and execute on investment opportunities created by the energy transition, across all sectors of the economy.

The Director of Fund Operations is based in Galvanize's London office, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Investment Officer. This role plays a key part in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the Global Equities Team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of fund operations including investor reporting, fund analysis, regulatory submissions, NAV management, and FX hedging. The role oversees regulatory reporting including Form PF, AIFMD, and other regulatory requirements. The Director reviews and approves monthly NAV packages, coordinates fund expense payments with administrators, and oversees the production of monthly fact sheets. Additional duties include assisting with FCA registration, ensuring compliance with UK reporting requirements, overseeing FX hedging activities at both fund and share class levels, and managing relationships with internal and external legal teams on required fund documents and regulatory reports.

The successful candidate brings a proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills in assessing complex financial operation data are essential. Proficiency in regulatory reporting and compliance requirements for investment management funds is required.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London at a firm at the forefront of energy transition investing.
