About This Role
A U.S.-based real estate private equity platform with 16 years of operating history, more than $2 billion in completed acquisitions, and approximately $200 million in equity under management is seeking a Global Head of Capital Raising. The firm focuses on value-add logistics real estate in the United States through an evergreen fund structure, anchored by a major U.S. institutional investor that provides third-party validation for LP outreach.
The Role
As Head of Capital Raising, you will be the most senior capital-facing hire at the platform and its primary representative with global investors. Your mandate is to build the firm's international LP base and bring in approximately $100 million in new capital commitments annually. Target investor categories include family offices, high-net-worth individuals, wealth management platforms, and institutional allocators across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
This is a first-principles build — you will create the fundraising playbook, not inherit one. You will have a direct line to senior leadership and genuine influence over how fundraising strategy evolves as the platform scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the firm's global fundraising effort, targeting approximately $100M in new LP commitments annually
- Build and cultivate relationships with family offices, wealth managers, and institutional allocators across multiple geographies
- Develop and execute investor outreach strategies for North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
- Lead the full capital raising cycle from initial engagement through due diligence, negotiation, and close
- Present the U.S. value-add logistics investment strategy compellingly to a sophisticated global audience
- Represent the firm at investor meetings, industry conferences, and roadshows
- Identify and develop new investor channels to diversify the LP base
- Maintain ongoing investor communications and support long-term LP retention
What You Will Bring
Candidates should have 10 or more years of capital raising experience within real estate funds or alternative asset managers, a demonstrable track record of raising capital from family offices and institutional investors, and an existing network of activatable LP relationships. Strong knowledge of real estate and private equity fund structures, terms, and fundraising dynamics is required, along with the ability to operate as the primary driver in a lean, fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
