Director, Acquisitions

Digital Realty, a global data center REIT and digital infrastructure investor, is seeking a Director of Acquisitions to lead investment strategy and execution. Responsibilities include sourcing, structuring, and executing complex investment transactions including M&A, land/development projects, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships; leading underwriting, financial modeling, and return analysis (DCF, IRR, accretion/dilution, sensitivity) to assess investment viability; overseeing preparation of Investment Committee materials; managing the full investment lifecycle from initial screening and due diligence through closing and post-close performance tracking; and negotiating key deal terms with JV partners, advisors, and lenders. The role also involves guiding junior team members, providing thought leadership on market trends and capital flows affecting the data center and digital infrastructure sectors, and identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization and new market entry. Requirements: 8-10 years of progressive experience in real estate or infrastructure investments, corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking, with expert-level financial modeling and valuation skills (Excel, Argus).
