Head of Investor Relations

A top-tier venture capital firm with over $1 billion in AUM — known for early investments in companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Ramp, and Rippling — is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join its lean San Francisco team. The firm focuses on AI applications, infrastructure, robotics, energy, space technology, and life sciences, and manages relationships with blue-chip institutional limited partners including endowments, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. In this role, the Head of IR will manage and update LPs on portfolio performance, source and build relationships with new institutional investors, and work on multi-hundred million dollar SPV co-investment opportunities alongside the investment team. The position requires 2+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or placement at a top-tier VC or PE firm, investment bank, or management consulting firm, along with demonstrated experience managing institutional LP relationships and proficiency in financial modeling for co-investments and SPVs. Compensation is $200,000-$300,000 plus meaningful equity. This role is on-site in San Francisco.
