Vice President, Investment Diligence

Role Overview

CAZ Investments, a Houston-based alternative investment firm founded in 2001 and backed by prominent Texas families, is hiring a Vice President, Investment Diligence to lead its Investment Management Team in evaluating and monitoring investment opportunities. CAZ invests its own capital alongside its co-investors (more than $650 million of personal capital committed by its principals).

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate new investment opportunities and support monitoring of existing investments across the full range of private markets

- Collaborate on initial due diligence and prepare Investment Memos for the Investment Committee

- Assist the Portfolio Management Team in monitoring and tracking existing investments, including gathering and analyzing portfolio data

- Work within and across teams to inform leadership on investment due diligence, decisions, and monitoring

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CAIA, CFA, or MBA preferred

- 6+ years of investment industry experience preferred

- Strong leadership and project management skills

- Expertise in alternative investments, including private equity
