Associate/Senior Associate, Southeast Asia (Real Estate Investment)

Role overview

CapitaLand Investment (CLI), a leading global real asset manager with S$120 billion in funds under management, is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate to join its Southeast Asia Investment team in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

- Support identification, evaluation and execution of real estate investment opportunities across Singapore and Southeast Asia

- Prepare financial models, feasibility studies, return analyses, sensitivity cases and valuation support for acquisitions, joint ventures, funds and mandates

- Coordinate due diligence workstreams and support negotiation of transaction documents with brokers, valuers, lenders and legal advisers

- Prepare investment papers, internal approval materials and investor pitch decks

- Evaluate sources of capital and co-investment/joint venture structures

- Conduct market intelligence on real estate fundamentals, comparable transactions and capital markets conditions

Qualifications

- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, Accountancy or related field (CFA/CAIA advantageous)

- ~4-7 years' experience in real estate investment, acquisitions, PE real estate, fund management, investment banking, corporate finance, valuation or transaction advisory

- Advanced Excel financial modelling and strong PowerPoint capability
