Investment Managing Director

Role Overview

Cambridge Associates is a leading global investment firm delivering outsourced CIO, non-discretionary portfolio management, and investment consulting to endowments & foundations, pension plans, and ultra-high-net-worth private clients. The firm is hiring an experienced Managing Director to serve as a senior investment leader managing private client portfolios ranging from $100 million to several billion dollars.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead an investment team constructing and managing diversified, customized client portfolios

- Select and evaluate investment managers across all asset classes

- Drive investment strategy and asset allocation, manager selection, risk management, and performance monitoring

- Lead client relationships (discretionary and non-discretionary), engaging directly with family members, board/IC members, family office staff, and outside advisors

- Partner with Global Client Solutions on new business development, referral networks, and pitches

- Manage and develop the broader investment team

Qualifications

- Extensive experience managing complex, multi-asset-class portfolios for institutional or ultra-high-net-worth clients

- Strong track record in manager selection, asset allocation, and client relationship management

- Business development experience within investment consulting or OCIO context
