Finance Director – PE Portfolio Management

A leading international private equity firm is seeking a Junior Finance Director (Financial Controller) based in Singapore to manage its regional investment portfolio operations.

Role Overview

This is a senior financial leadership position combining controllership, cash flow oversight, and strategic finance partnering across a multi-country footprint within a PE-backed investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with senior leadership on group strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning

- Own group cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation, and capex planning across the portfolio

- Oversee group-wide management reporting, consolidation, and financial statements

- Manage multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and tax matters

- Lead audits and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting across jurisdictions

- Strengthen governance, internal controls, and financial policies across the group

- Drive process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiency

- Support strategic initiatives including investments, divestments, and cross-functional projects

Candidate Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (CA / ACCA or equivalent), ideally Big 4 trained with 15+ years of career experience

- Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience (essential)

- Experience operating at group level with multi-entity and regional exposure

- Strong exposure to cash flow management, capex, and treasury functions

- Experience in a PE-backed, holding company, or investment platform environment preferred

- Strong business partnering capability with senior stakeholders

- Resilient, hands-on, and commercially minded personality
